I also learned how to properly set up my InDesign page by using the exact measurements of the page from Classic Rock page which i was copying. The reason we did this was because it made our pages look as professional as possible.

First InDesign post
Since last week when i started my InDesign project, i have added in both of my articles and also my header and kicker. Since doing my first InDesign project in October, i have learned about drop caps, how to text wrap and i have also been reminded about leading and kerning. The InDesign project at the bottom was the one which I did in October, Most of the photos are out of focus or some are out of proportion. Also i feel that, because i hadn't used them before, my drop caps were probably too big but the one's on my new project is probably just about right.

Editing Photos
This is my original photo.
Auto Contrast - this brightened my photo up but i don't think it made my photo look better.
Auto Tone - This made my photo look better as it made the colours more vivid and sharp.
Dodge and Burn - This was used to darken my image again and it also helped me make the red of the models jumper more sharp. This didn't make the photo look as good as possible as he looked ill because of it.
